With 15 million copies sold since its conception in 1968 and its successful republishing in 2002 , more trends than ever, the mythical Tam Tam revealed through a Brigitte Bardot interview while she was sitting on it, will celebrate its 40th anniversary at Maison & Object show, which began on January 25 in Paris.

And for the anecdote, this historic illustration of design was not created by a designer…

Its inventor, Henry Massonnet, made soups for fishermen…surprising  !
