Works on the road El Catey - Las Terrenas

The construction works of the Tourist Atlantic Boulevard continue, in order to stimulate the development of the Samaná Peninsula.

Since 6 months, the workers are constructing the El Catey – Las Terrenas road, which should be over in august 2011.

This road will join up Las Terrenas to El Catey in 15 minutes, and to the entrance of the Santo Domingo highway in 25 minutes.

Besides, it will enable the travelers to go from Las Terrenas to Santo Domingo in 2h30.

Two tolls will be placed on this road, which is a great work for the integral development of the Samaná Peninsula.
