Work progresses on the road between Las Terrenas and El Catey - The Majagua

Part of the Atlantic Touristic Boulevard project

Work on the road joining the communities of Las Terrenas and El Catey, on the Samaná peninsula, is progressing at a good pace.

This road construction is part of the Atlantic Touristic Boulevard project, which is being built at a cost of US $160 million dollars

The Tourism Atlantic Boulevard will stretch 123.648 kilometers and consists of the rehabilitation of the road network on the Samaná peninsula, with plans of making it one of the most important tourist destinations in the country.

The road network will link Nagua - Sanchez - El Limon - Cruce de Abra Grande - Las Terrenas - Balata and El Catey. This roadwork will link the El Catey airport with Las Terrenas.
