Fernández grants the final concession to Luz y Fuerza
To distribute electricity in the Samaná Peninsula
Dominican president Leonel Fernández, granted, through the National Energy Commission (CNE), the definitive concession license to the Luz & Fuerza Company of Las Terrenas to distribute electricity in North and East of the Samaná Peninsula.
The contract was signed by Mr. Enrique Ramírez, the president of the National Energy Commission, on behalf of the Dominican State, and by Jose Oscar Orsini Bosch, president of the Luz y Fuerza company.
The agreement, establishes an initial period of 20 years. After signing the contract, the engineer Orsini Bosch thanked President Leonel Fernandez and Enrique Ramirez.
He also reaffirmed its commitment to ensure a stable energy service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Las Terrenas, Las Galeras and El Limón.
