A naturist residence in Las TerrenasThe Village Tropical’Nat Ermitaño is a naturist residential project that should be built at El Limon, close to Las Terrenas. http://www.tropicalnat-invest.com
As we received several emails of investors who paid a deposit to the owners and haven’t got any news, we alert our readers about this project that seems suspicious.
Indeed, these are some of the unclear points:

When will the local government take action to clean up the river or at the very least limit the garbage which flows into the sea and on our beaches. It is sad that many improvement projects have been done around town, however, our most important Tourist asset is being neglected. Let us come up with a permanent solution for this on-going problem.

Hello Las Terrenas Live, i agree strongly to the comments about the river to be cleaned. But experience in the 60ties and 70 ties in Europe showed: The only way to control the garbage would be a closed chanel all the way trough Las Terrenas. That could be nicely done and offer a new pedestrian walkway all the way through Las Terrenas, so families could walk to the beaches without the danger of traffic. Another point of concern to me is the cemetery closed to the beach, which would offer an incredible oportunity: How would it be like, if instead of the cemetery there would be a public beach park, with adequate parking facilities ? That would be unique in the whole Dominican Republic ? And the Walkway upon the river could connect to that park, wouldn´t that be nice ? ? ?
