Multicultural fair Etnomix 2011 begins today
All nationalities gathered in Punta Popi
For the third consecutive year, the multicultural fair in Las Terrenas, Etnomix 2011, will be held from Friday to Sunday October 16th on the Punta Popi beach.
The event takes place every year during the weekend following the celebration of the Columbus Day, which commemorates the arrival of Christopher Columbus to the island and the discovery of the New World on October 12th.
For three consecutive days, the beach of Punta Popi will welcome numerous visitors who will enjoy a pleasant moment.
This year, participating countries at Etnomix are: Dominican Republic, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, USA, Canada, Ecuador, Haiti, Russia, Australia, Switzerland, Cuba, Ukraine and Mexico.
Every nationality will be represented with a stand in which the products, beverages and foods of each country will be offered to visitors.
