In 2011, the Office of Urban Planning was created in Las Terrenas, which main objective was to elaborate a Municipal Management Plan.
The goal of this initiative is to organize the sustainable development of Las Terrenas.
The Frenchman Cédric Deverchere recently presented a document entitled Las Terrenas Urban Diagnosis
that highlights the main challenges facing the village.
