A pleasant trip to Las Terrenas
Going to Las Terrenas will be an even more pleasant trip now, when Tourist Atlantic Boulevard will be finished.
Thanks to this road, the trip between Santo Domingo and Las Terrenas will be even shorter and will last less than two hours.
Besides the fact that thanks to this project the travellers will gain time and money, the road also offers a great view on the palm trees and ocean.
The road is 95% finished. Engineer Amin Garcia, explained that they will soon asphalt the last 1.5 kilometers on Cosón, near to Las Terrenas.
The Tourist Atlantic Boulevard signed a loan of $ 149.5 million to finance the road project with the Inter American Development Bank (IDB), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the French Development Agency and the Andean Development Corporation.
