Evaluation for fire prevention in the Paseo Plaza
A meeting was held on May 14th
After the tragedy that destroyed the fishermen’s village, and in response to the urgent requests of several shop owners in the Paseo Plaza, a meeting was held in the conference room of the shopping center on Monday May 14, 2012, at 6 pm, in order to present and analyze the fire prevention measures that are available.
According to the last fire and safety prevention regulations (R-032 Decree 85-11) issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), fire control in the Paseo center has to be updated in about 2 years.
Some decisions were taken such as the assessment of fire prevention systems by a representative of the Ministry of Public Works, and the evaluation of the plaza by an inspector from the insurance company Proseguros
, announced Mr Miguel Dominguez.
